Coming Out

Time to come out of the closet Man
You’ve been hiding there too long
You’re looking somewhat pale
Come and join the throng.

Everyone is waiting
To see that you’re okay
There’s wine and lots of champers
And a hundred games to play.

You’ve come to the world late in life
You took your time to grow
Now that you’ve matured so much
You can really steal the show.

But just  before you present yourself
There is something you should wear
A smile of sated confidence
Fresh as Pennine air.
